We really pride ourselves on the quality of our rambutans.

The rambutan is native to Southeast Asia and is closely related to the Lychee and Longan.

The skin is red and covered with hairy spines. The flesh is white or pale pink and has a mainly sweet flavour. The single seed is a pretty glossy brown and is not edible.

Rambutan is most commonly eaten as a snack fruit by peeling off the husk. It is also used in fruit salads, or placed in syrup as a dessert.

To open, using a knife, cut part way into the skin of the fruit.  Peel back the skin and remove the flesh from around the stone.
